Quail Hunting Season

  • Dates: Nov 18 - Feb 29
  • Daily Bag Limit: 10 quail per hunter
  • Possession Limit: Up to 30 quail per hunter

Rabbit Hunting Season

  • Dates: Oct 7 - Feb 29
  • Daily Bag Limit: 8 rabbits per hunter
  • Possession Limit: Up to 24 rabbits per hunter

Squirrel Hunting Seasons

  • Fall Season: Oct 7 - Feb 29
    • Daily Bag Limit: 8 squirrels per hunter
    • Possession Limit: Up to 24 squirrels per hunter
  • Spring Season: May 4-26
    • Daily Bag Limit: 3 squirrels per hunter
    • Possession Limit: Up to 9 squirrels per hunter
    • Note: Spring squirrel season is closed in Kisatchie National Forest, select national wildlife refuges, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property, and some state WMAs. Refer to the WMA season schedule for precise details.

Bobcat Hunting Season

  • Season: Experimental year-round season
  • Harvest Limit: One bobcat per calendar year per hunter

Raccoon and Opossum Hunting Season

  • Season: Year-round
  • Daily Limit: Two raccoons and two opossums per hunter

Crow Hunting Season

  • Dates: Sep 1 - Jan 1
  • Limit: No daily or possession limit
