  • Black Hills (US Forest Service Land within BH Fire Protection District): January 1 to March 31
  • Black Hills (Non-US Forest Service Land within BH Fire Protection District): November 1 to April 30

Bison Season

  • Mountain Goat (Black Hills): September 1 to December 31

Bobcat Seasons

  • West River: December 26 to February 15
  • East River: December 26 to February 15
  • Nonresidents: January 14 to February 15

Coyote Season

  • Duration: Year-round (January 1 to December 31)
  • Note: No limit and shooting hours are unrestricted.

Fox Season

  • Duration: Year-round (January 1 to December 31)
